Apple gives ‘em the boot

This is awesome. Apple’s new Intel Macs can now run Windows XP with the help of a utility released today on Apple’s site called Boot Camp.

Windows XP is still security swiss cheese so on some level you’d have to be out of your mind to expose your pricey Mac to the joys of the blue screen of death. But for people on the fence about switching, a dual boot option could be the safety net that allows them to indulge.

One platform. Two operating systems. Fantastic.
