What’s better than 40 days of commercial free FNX?
As part of their kickoff to summer, FNX radio in Boston is commercial free for the next 40 days. Few radio stations can match FNX’s playlist for variety and cultural relevance. They lead. Everyone else follows. And best of all, they’re available online.
I always thought Snapple tasted like drinking nasty corn syrup. And I virtually live on processed sugar. But for 40 days, Snapple, you are my friend.

Huh.
I had originally assumed that I would use this site like most visual designers. I would write about the design industry, comment on contemporary art, and post my most personal work. I would hopefully build a reputation as a thoughtful and insightful designer with the inherent authority to arbitrate good and bad design.
Fuck that noise.
I do not have the patience, the time, nor the focus to maintain this site’s content within those strict parameters. I just finished reading Beowulf two weeks ago. I have been strangely obsessed with the 1st and 3rd Crusade since then. (The 2nd just isn’t holding my attention. Too much of a let down reading about stupid men with swords do stupid things. We get enough of that in the present day…sword-free). So if my interest is away from design for ttwo months, do I just not post? That’s dumb.
If this site is branded under my name than I am the product the site is pushing. Therefore, I claim that anything I want to write about is relevant. Likewise I reserve the right to contradict myself early and often. I’m sure my zero readers will rollover to my demands.
I am the unitary executive here.
