About
My name is Christopher Fannon. I create the content for christopherfannon.com. And while that may seem self evident, I state it for the record nonetheless.
A native of Massachusetts originally hailing from Holliston, but more recently from Franklin, I currently work at Harvard University as an in-house creative resource for Central Adminstration’s Center for Workplace Development. There I work with instructional course designers, career development professionals, managers, professors and the occasional dean to bring training material from the classroom to the web.
My interests tends more towards using visual technologies and visualization techniques, not as an end in to themselves, but as an aid in learning and understanding large amounts of data from often times radically different sources. A successful project is one that promotes communication and understanding of a difficult topic. Where game-play, interaction and simulation realize a purpose and use for an abstract concept or set or data.
Currently I am working on expanding my skills as student in Color Theory, Figure Drawing, PHP, and Cold Fusion/MySQL classes this fall. And, yes, I will find a way to fit those four together.
